Students Trained to Support the Laptop Initiative
What are ITeams?
ITeams are student groups that are trained to perform various tasks and support the Conte Laptop Initiative.
Laptop Managers
Students are selected from each homebase and assist in the day to day management of the laptop computers. They are responsible for distribution in the morning and collection in the afternoon. They connect the laptops to recharging stations and note computers that are in need of repair and report this to Conte's Desktop Manager. Laptop managers also periodically clean the student laptops
WebQuest Experts
Selected by their teachers, these 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students have been taught how to create online learning projects. During training, each grade level group developed a standards-based project, brought the project back to classroom teachers, and assisted with presenting it to their classmates.
